Advanced Life Support

HealthLink Medical Transportation’s ALS units boast state-of-the-art equipment and are staffed by advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified paramedics.  ALS paramedics are able to operate mechanized ventilators, 12 lead ECG monitors, SpO2 monitors, and can perform a host of advanced procedures in the field.  In addition to advanced airway management, ACLS certified paramedics can perform intraosseous needle placements, surgical cricothyrotomies and external pacing.  Our ambulances are also equipped to transport isolettes when infant transportation is necessary.
